most of the people here that run the 2.5" leveling kit will also add an add-a-leaf to keep the back from looking lower than the front. i opted for airbags to have the adjustability.... i think the biggest thing is whether you tow or not.... if you dont, then the 2" should work just fine, but if you do a lot of towing, then you might go with the 2.5".
I have the 2.5" Pro Comp Leveling kit on my '04 FX4 with no add a leaf. I hear people talk about the rear end sag with the 2.5" kit but I am with in a 16th of an inch from perfect level. That 16th of an inch is nose down by the way.

Yea i think it is. if you tow a lot, you would not want as much of a lift because the weight on the rear end of your pick up will cause the height of the truck in the rear to decrease. correct me if i am wrong...
i have an '07 4x4 s-cab, i thought about using a 2.5" leveling kit, until i put a floor jack under the truck and saw the CV angles with 2.5 and 2" of lift.. after seeing that i think i will just buy a real lift, to keep the angles the way ford set them up. if these trucks had hubs it would'nt be a big deal, but with that front end truning all the time i dont know about a spacer lift. just my .02
