Question Buzzer trouble!

All of the sudden the warning buzzer comes on any time the door is opened. Everything is off and the key is out of the ignition. Any ideas?

the tab is broke off the key cylinder, if you know how to pull it out, they are simple, if not i can post some pics tomarrow after work of how to, its very simple, pull the lower colum cover off, 3 phillips screws and the tilt lever, then lower the tilt all the way and remove the top piece of plastic, pull the shifter to 1st gear to make it simpler, once off, put it back to park then turn the key to run, under the cyclinder you'll see a hole with a detent ball in it, depress it and pull the key cylinder out, near the top of the hole will be a half moon piece of plastic with a metal tab, gurantee the ear is broke off and it just flops around, that is your problem, you can still order it from the dealer, i just pulledthe pin out of the connector on mine

that just unhooks the buzzer, his switch on the column is busted, it will cause the key to bind after it works in there for a bit
