IRS Scammers
Geez, just how stupid can these scams get.
After the last annual calculations of your fiscal activity we have determined that you are eligible to receive a tax refund of $185.49. Please submit the tax refund request and allow us 6-9 days in order to process it.
A refund can be delayed for a variety of reasons. For example submitting invalid records or applying after the deadline.

There's another one where they're asking the patsy to fill out a customer service report.
The biggest scam I've had tried on anybody in my house was a "certified" check showing up in the mail for my teenage son. The letter that came with it said he'd won a Canadian lottery and the check was to cover his fees. All he had to do was deposit the check and then send a check from his own personal account to claim his millions. Scammers prey on the greedy and the stupid.
