Hi there, my actual E4OD is 1991. I'm doing some electrical Upgrades to my truck and I notice the wiring I'm using is from a 1995 F150 and the connector at MLPS and the connector at Solenoid Pack are different than my actual 1991.
I bought also the engine and tranny from that F150 1995 so I can just change the MLPS and the Solenoid pack BUt my question is;
Is there any difference in the solenoid pack from 1991 to 1995 other than just the connector? Can I just switch the whole pack ?
You can update from 95 to earlier. In fact if you were to buy a MLSP you would recieve the newer connector that you would have to upgrade to anyway. The solenoid pack can be fitted to a earlier transmission but not the other way around.
