Sorry Locopower, I re-read your post and I'm ,..well,.. kind of an idiot for missing that. I just did the Zoodad and used an aluminum mesh to strain the bugs. Apparently this might make for a blender effect with the bugs though and chop em to bits. I think I'll leave it and see what happens. pics are in my gallery.
Thanks for the reply Dan, I haven't tested the 6637 yet due to my truck still being apart for various PMS applications right now. But you say that the truck is much louder with the 6637 than the AIS inside. That is good to know.
Yes, a LOT louder I found out as soon as I hit the road.
It surprised me quite a bit to hear it again like that, very shrill turbo whistle climbing into my ears while pulling.
The AIS muffles about 90% of it, leaving just enough to give you that big grin when the engine is working.
Flow for the 6637 is hypothetical. The cfm number is based off of another web site and is not a proven fact. Dyno numbers prove the 6637 out performed the AFEII.

As anyone who bothers to read the post I gave the link for can see for themselves, my CFM #'s are thoroughly explained there, and they come from the filter manufactures site, and are most certainly not hypothetical in any way. I could've used the even lower CFM #'s from the WIX site which apply to the off-brand versions of the 6637 that most people actually use, but I used the higher CFM #'s form the DONALDSON site because the DONALDSON B085011 version of the 6637 is what will eventually be used in the testing project I'm involved in.
BTW mech, I think everyone on this forum is well aware that you advocate using the big round paper 6637 filter for any and all PSD applications, so there's no need to reply with bold face type!
