electronic transfer case won't shift

88 bronco 11 w/ the electronic transfer case won't shift I did hear a relay clicking when i pushed the shift button, but no engagement. Now I don't hear the relay. Where is the relay located? I checked the fuse it's good. Just need some help You guys have been very helpfull Thanks in advance.

the electric motor on the transfer case usually gets rusted up and stuck.

Exactly. You can pull the motor off and clean it up. Carefully tear is apart and give it a good cleaning. The 4x4 relay should be behind the driver door under those panels. If if you heard the clicking then that part is ok, most likely the shift motor.

thanks for the reply, however I no longer hear the relay so I'll try it first, you say the relay is by the drivers door, do you mean close to the fuse panel? thanks again
