1952 starter button wires

a 1952 starter button has two wires, one runs to small lug on selenoid, I have one wireing diagram that says the other goes to ground (where ?) another says it goes to a circuit breaker. There is a small rectangle metal device under the dash (1'' x 1/2" +-) that has wires running to it, it has a spring loaded push button on one end. Is this a circuit breaker ? The two push button starter wires are red with green dashes and red with blue dashes. Niether of these colors go back to the metal device I described earlier. Any one a wireing expert on this model? Thanks ! John

Check this thread. The Advanced Search is your friend, this very topic has come up 3 times in the last two weeks. You should also buy a factory manual if you're going to fix the truck yourself, they're only $30 and worth every penny.

Also, MacVP has a '51 wiring diagram, which is similar but not quite the same as a '52

Yes, those are circuit breakers under the dash.
