1994 running problems

I have the 1994 5.0 auto with overdrive, supercab. The truck runs great, except...

It started to have acceleration problems. I would slow doen in traffic and it wouldn't want to accelerate - would go about 10mph, backfiring, and then suddenly just take off. My mechanic changed the ignition module and the ECU computer. This fixed it for one month! I took it on the highway one day and it started doing it at speed. I would do 60mph, slow down to 50 for a truck, and when I went to get back up to speed would just backfire and then suddenly take off. It is now doing it off and on in town again. When it acts up it does not like to idle, oil pressure becomes sporadic.

Just had spark plugs, belt, valves, temp sensor, exhaust and O2 sensor changed.
Thanks for any help!

Maybe a dirty injector, try running some Seafoam or injector cleaner through the fuel.

Welcome to FTE

Try www.fordinjection.com it show how to pull codes and test the sensors. Let us know what find.

Sounds like a distributor issue but let the pros here help.
