Yes, the 6.0l warranty on the engine is covered from Ford from 0-36,000 miles. 36,001-100,000 is IH's period on the warranty. You also have a $100 per visit after 36,001 miles.
Just talking out loud, I still cannot believe that very few people read the owners manual and warranty guide, or fail to bring warranty up when buying a truck that costs around $30-$50k?

All 2007s on up are no deductible for 5/60 powertrain (I figure the $100 deductible is after 5 years or 60001 miles). For 2006s sold on or after 7/14/06, it's a 5/60 Ford ESP Powertrain extended service contract with $100 deductible from 3 years/36001 to 5 years/60000 miles.
That's what I understand it to be....

I used to be in the software biz, and we often wondered why we even produced documentation since nobody ever seemed to read it -- we used the rtfm quote (amongst ourselves) all the time...

I would have looked in the warranty book, but as it seems to be the common practice, the past owner kept the owners manual and the fobs for the remote entry, also for what ever reason there was only one key with the truck.....as for asking the dealer, I trust yo guys 100% more than I trust some dealers here
