I hate to say this but, I have bought a lawnmower with a tin foil shell. However it is really fun to drive and my wife loves it....sooo what can you do?Anyway it's a 91 Geo Storm and the clutch doesn't engage until the last two inches of pedal travel. I thought it would be an adjustment on the transmission but it appears as though the only adjustment is on the pedal. There is no noise coming form the clutch and when it's engaged it doesn't slip. What do you all think? Need a new clutch? I'm going to try the pedal adjustment today and see how that goes.
Mine did the same thing... before I blew out the clutch. Try the pedal adjustment first and see if that does anything before you get worried. Mine didn't make a noise or anything. I did burn it out being stupid. I guess these things really can't go 4 wheeling! Still the best $250 I ever spent and the guy even delivered it to me.
