Buy a gasket and some rtv, pull off Tb and unscrew the tps bolts put antisieze on bolts reinstall tps. Re install tb with new gasket and rtv. Might as well clean the IAC while you are there! Do not forget to disconnect your battery!
why are you replaceing the tps? did you pull codes and thats what they say is the problem? biggest mistake people make on efi rigs is they throw parts at it before pulling codes and this gets expensive. www.fordfuelinjection.com tells you how
I have no way of pulling the codes without going to the dealer. I have tried a few things that people have said is my problem and this seems to be the solution that everyone keeps saying. Anyway, I have already bought one. Thanks for the help.
you can pull codes with a paper clip and reading the instructions posted on www.fordfuelinjection.com it takes 5 mins and all you do is count the flashes of the check engine light. heck even the auto parts stores will scan codes for free.
What exactly is the problem? I figured you already had it figured out and needed to replace the tps. Give us a little info on the problem, Is the check egine light on? Do you have a driveability problem or idle problem. Kemicals right don't start throwing parts at a problem all ***** nilly because someone said too, Especially the parts counter guy!!!!
Check the switch on the clutch pedal with a multimeter check for continuity with the clutch in then out. If you have one. I never messed with standard a standard bronco but if you have that switch it can cause problems when they start going out.
