460 zf flywheel
Thanks
I feel for my vibrations through the clutch pedal, the 4x4 shifter, and the trans shifter.
Certian rattles will rattle certian shifters.
And then you use the clutch to see if they are located before or after the clutch with your butt and feet.
kinda a him haw way of doing it, and sometimes it takes a while to figure it out.
I'm currently haveing a tough time locating mine.
It feels like a U joint, but those are good.
I'm so affraid its in the rear end again, but it dosn't feel like the pinion is loose.
I just have a lot of slop in the splines. Perhaps thats what the vibration is?
As for zf construction, that zf should be flawless, and tank like. If it has a problem, perhaps you got a bad one? Otherwise, if lubricated, should last for a long long time.
I cannot wait to get my hands on one.
I love my m5od, but the zf has a taller overdrive then my mazda. And will be less hard on the clutch taking off.
However, the zf pretty much takes racing out of the question unless i take off in second.
0-30 on the mazda first, and 0-10 on the zf. heh.
That puts a dampner on things.
Sheezh i'm just rambling here. i shall stop.
perhaps your flywheel is loose also.
Sounds like you have a loose bolt or a broken clutch part.
BTW, welcome to FTE!
