I did the mod in Bozeman about a month ago, and I'm still in Yellowstone less than 100 miles away, so I need to get more miles towing to give a good SOP evaluation.

As I stated here https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/645117-getting-ready-to-do-some-6637-testing-6.html#post5093885 when describing my new computer runs on RAM air pressure, the reason I was touting the increase in RAM air pressure after the Genedad mod wasn't because the extra 0.5" or so increase in RAM pressure does all that much for performance (but every little bit helps, even if just a little bit), but it was because it showed that the grill strut I removed was definitely impeding the flow of the cooler ambient air into the inlet tube. As shown in my computer runs, the temp of the inlet air is much more important than the slight increase in RAM pressure.

Since I wound up cutting that grill strut mostly out of frustration in not being able to reach where I needed to cut the original Zoodad hole bigger, at least I'm pleased to measure on my gauge that disfiguring my truck wasn't in vain!
