what is the best colour for hiding dents and stuff ?
I was leaning towards white but im not sure
I have an 84 mercury grand marquis colony park
I want to remove the wood trim and paint it white with blue racing stripes
and add some semi smoke stacks as lake pipes, and tint the windows
white is the best to cover imperfections but any paint with a good shine will show imperfections just as much as others, the shiny gloss is where it gets you most, shows everything
if the dents are small and you are painting anyway...why not just pull the dents or at least run some glaze over them prior to painting to flatten out those panels? You're going to have to rough up the old paint to the the new paint to stick anyway...yeah a lot more work...but since you're there already.
