300 I6 running BAD!!!
ok.. i went muddin this past weekend and got my engine wet and a little dirty.. it is hell to dirve.. i messed something up bad.. when i turn it on it idle really rough and its like stuttering when i press the gas.. it happens for a while.. until the engine warms up.. and then its just really rough... like something got wet that wasnt supposed to ... it sounds like an old go kart..HELP!!! this is my daily driver and i cant afford to go without it one more day!... its a 96 f150 I6... WHATS WRONG?

No--There are two small screws in the cap that hold the cap to the distributor body. unscrew the screws and move the cap aside, no real need to remove the wires either, except possibly the coil wire.
