WE put the 500 cfm Edelbrock in our 60. IT is great on the street. I bought it at Summit.

Of the choices you mentioned I'd go with the 390 cfm. Throttle response will be very good with the smaller venturi carburetor. I have also used Edelbrock and Holley and currently running a rebuilt Holley 600. I've found that the Holleys seem to need more tweeking than the Edelbrocks. You can often put the Edelbrock on and run it just as it came out of the box...

you should buy a edelbrock just to thump it around
but i think you can get the best performance out of a holley and edelbrocks look nice
