Greetings. I have a '90 Bronco that I need to replace because of age/mileage. I LOVE my Bronco, but would like to move into something a little newer. I have a couple of expedition questions...
First, Will my '96 Bronco Eddie Bauer wheels (15") fit on an expedition? They have a 5x5.5 bolt pattern... As long as the brake rotor isn't larger the 15", I don't think this will be an issue.
Second, Anyone done a lift on one of these? Nothing extreme, just want to get it up off of the ground a little bit.
Third, I have heard that transmissions in these are problematic. Were there more than just one tranny offered?
ANy other info that I should be on the lookout for would be great as well. Thanks in advance.
I have not heard too many transmission issues with these, not more than an average vehicle make/model. I have seen lifts and lift kits, but the expedition is a tall vehicle as is, and making it higher will sacrifice handling and safety. It will be very top heavy. my expedition has 265/70/17 tires, so putting 15's would look pretty small. hope this helps
