Exhaust Pressure Sensor?

Did a search and can't seem to find what exactly this does. Truck is an 05 and the cel just came on today. Is this an urgent issue? Just got back from a 700 mile trip and averaged 17mpg and seemed to run ok. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Found in search when entering code p0470 seems to be more of a 7.3 issue. Any odd running conditions caused by this?

I was under the impression that the EBP sensor was not used in the newest engine strategy anymore. If you don't have the newest flash maybe you should consider it.

npc, I'm pretty sure it's still used in the 05+ trucks. From what ive been told, it was only the 03-04s that got that strategy

yes it is called infered EBP on the 03-04.5MY
the po470 will be caused most commonly by the EBP pigtail spead pins and a faulty sensor-most had a recall in 05/06MY..check w/ ur dealer...if not only $100 over 36K.
