do supercabs and regular cabs use the same u-joints?
Allright, i'm getting ready to do some driveline swapping and have a question.
I'm getting ready to take a 1986 302-aod supercab 4x2 and swap in a 1985 300-NP435, also 4x2.
Now, the rear output of the NP435 is 31 spline but the AOD is only 28. Therefore i have to use the slip yoke for the 435. Here's what i need to know:
At the front driveshaft position does a 1986 supercab AOD with a 2 piece driveshaft use the same universal joint as a 1985 regular cab NP435?
The parts stores can't give me a definite either way and I'm not going to have the yoke for the 435 until i go home on friday, but this whole swap has to occur this weekend (long story, but it does).
