Here she is!

The top pic has my 2 girls on deck and up on the bowsprit.
The second is pretty self explanatory.
Anyway, that's her. We've named her 'Whispering Hope'.

SO far we've only sailed it on the dam at Rivers. It's not very wide, but it's a couple miles long. Next year we'll be going to Lake of the Prairies near the Man/Sask border and CLear Lake at Riding Mountain Nat. Park. Not sure where else yet. But I'll think of something.

Cool, I live very close to both those lakes! I know there are alot of sail boats at Clear Lake because I water ski there quite abit and as for Lake of the Praires, my parents just built a house out there! Great fishing.

Nice ride! ( I guess it would be considered a ride )

Hey smiggs, are you close to Dauphin lake???? I know it's big, but is it really shallow? I only need about 10 feet to feel comfortable, but still, the deeper the better. SHe's got a draft of about 5 1/2' with the keel down. The only thing about clear lake is that I don't have a 4 stroke. Just an old 2 stroke.

Yeppers, live in Dauphin. I've only been here for acouple of years but by all accounts Lake Dauphin is very shallow. I wish I could help you out more here but I do most of my boating at Clear and fishing at Lake of the Prairies.

You might be able to sneak that 2 stroke on Clear if they aren't inspecting watercraft at the boat launch.

Help is always appreciated! I really only need the outboard for shoving off (depending on wind direction) and docking. Just not confident enough to dock under sail yet.
I'll likely be doing most of my sailing at Russell or the park anyway, but bigger water is definitely a draw.
Smiggs, good to have another 'toban posting regularily on here.

the park may make exceptions for a boat primarily powered by sail, but it wouldn't hurt to ask ahead of time....
