I got the transmission rebuilt again. It was done by AAMCO this time so we'll see how it lasts. Shoot it can't be no worse than the last rebuild.
The brake light/abs lights that I asked about, turns out to be a bad abs pump that I am now awaiting being shipped in, so that it can be replaced. Apparently no one in the greater cincinnati area carries an abs pump.
Now when I get the truck back it will have new pads and rotors up front; new drums, shoes, hardware and a new rear abs sensor in the back. They will also have fixed a bad lower ball joint w/ alignment. PLus the rebuilt tranny. I will change the oil and also the filters. probably go ahead and throw a new set of plugs in it too.
Hopefully it will be nice and run great for me for a while. what do you all think?
If the rebuilders don't install freeze plugs in the shift rail plugs (in place of the stock rubber ones), replace them yourself. It will save you plenty of headaches in the future.
