Rear leaf spring problems?
Hey all,
Has anyone with an F-150 ever had problems with their leaf springs comming out of alignment? Mine are all Whacked. My buddy says he has had the same trouble. What caused this and can it be easily fixed? Thanks!

Rear leaf spring problems?
He's right. If you notice, there is a clamp on the front, but not the back of the spring pack. I had heard there was a recall on this so I took it to the dealer. They said they hadn't heard of a recall and checked it but came up w/ nothing, said maybe there was a TSB out. In any case, they said, "here's how you fix it, come see". So I walked over. Mech took a mallet and whacked it back into place. I had to do that twice more myself. Just go to a machine shop or body shop or somethin and have them make you a clamp.
