Stripped the backside and applied Picklex 20, then Zero Rust.. Then some silver aluminum spray paint.
And after all these great pics... I have this lousy pic to show for it.

Doh.. I have to say, that space looks awful however. I think I may buy a roll pan and modify it to fill the gap nicely. Three separate people said "are you missing a piece?"

The Viva sticker stayed on for laughs now.. VIVA!!!
I always wanted to build myself a roll pan that is heavy duty and has an integrated 2" tow receiver built in, with a door that is hinged at the top to cover the square hole when not in use so it is a nice, flush look.
The roll pans I have seen being sold are merely sheet metal pieces that would not hold up to a small impact; That is my problem with them. I don't care for the license plate spoiling the look, but I guess I would have to french it into one side or be pulled over!
