I have a 1999 f-150... how do I remove the brake light cover? Does it snap in place?

 

I assume you mean the regular tailights, since the center brake light has two obvious phillips head screws (at least mine does). The regular light assemblies have two hex head bolts (each), which are accessible from the tailgate opening.
