That's funny, I have done the same through Typhoon's in Japan. Hung off the runway landing lights changing bulbs(the long yellow bar of red lights at the beginning of the runway aft end of the carrier) while underway and henging off the aircraft warning lights on the top of the mast. Wow what a view, I would be more than happy to do it again.
