what is the replacment bulb for a 99 expedition xlt.ty

i believe 194 is the one.

greenscobie86 you where right 194. replaced all my lites and they all work.thanks for your help wife is happy now.

Anyone know if u can put a 194 LED in place of this bulb?

Actually a 194 bulb is only 3.78 watts. The correct bulb to use in the running boards is a 906 bulb which is 9 watts.

Well, i guess both will work cause i slapped a 194 in it today and worked. Does not seem any dimmer. I'm guessing a 906, being 9 watts would be brighter then a 194?

i found some 194 LEDs. I wonder if these will be as bright as the 906?.?.?

Problem, 906 will not fit into the housing. It is to big (long). Can anyone say they have actually replaced there bulb with a 906?

Notice the size diffrence. one on the right is what came out of the expy.

Hmm, I have the 906 bulbs in mine. Mine is a 97, maybe they changed it in later years???

Well i got the lights in there just to see how i would like the color change. And i must say for such a cheap exterior mod, I think it looks pretty damn nifty. Now to just wait on the 194's to get here.. I got a whole box of 904G's green if anyone is interested. Make me an offer in PM's.
