play in steering wheel
how do i get rid of the play in the steering wheel i just had a new pump put on so i didnt know if there was something to adjust or what or is this play normal

Lot's of things can cause the play. Starting from the steering shaft all the way to the ball joints. Let me know if you want a detailed description if you are planning on doing it yourself. It will take me a little time to type up and don't have time right now.

i have had the balljoints replaced about 6 months ago so i dont think they are the cause but maybe this will help out alittle more when the truck is sitting at idle the wheel will barley turn but when i give it a little gas it turns witn no problem

The power steering isn't great on the superduties. Do you have stock tires? If you jack up the front of the truck, you can wiggle the tires and see if anything looks loose in the steering linkage.
