I have an Actron OB-2 auto scanner.Will this work on my truck? if not why.Isnt this the proper generation of computer.If it is not iis there one on the market that I can get.I dont have a laptop and just want a code reader.I dont need all that big bucks realtime telemertry.

Most likely not. Diesels are not normally OBD-2 compliant.
