73-79 Supercabs in Oz?

A guy who lives down the street approached me about buying my truck for a firend of his. Apparently this friend lives in Austrailia, and he runs a buisness that imports North American vehciles.
he said that it's very tough to find the 73-79 body style in a super cab.

He never said how much they might give me for mine, and I'm not sure I'd really want to sell it anyway.

Anyone ever heard of this? Are super cabs really tough to find down there? How much are they worth in driveable shape?

All the 73-79 F-Series down here were made here... and they are ALL regular cabs.
So - there is no super cabs (of that vintage anyway), unless they have been imported here from the US.
In a driveable shape... it can depend - in reasonable condition, for a supercab you would be looking at maybe Au8-10k (thats just a guess).
However, because it is over 30years old - you don't need to convert it to RHD to register it - there would be some concession with regards to price for having a LHD vehicle.

Ask him how much he is offering.

I'll ask him what he's thinking. I can't imagine it's cheap to ship anything this large, so he can't afford to pay anything like that $10k.

The good thing is, I'm not really looking to sell. It would have to be an outlandish amount to make it worth my while. It would take me a lot of effort to get my other 77 into driving shape, and I just don't have the energy right now.

The PMG had quite a few supercab and extra cab 73-79 but they were done aftermarket, some of their twin cabs only had three doors.
