Rear Bumper... Need Help!!
Hey guys, so im sitting here right now pretty bummed... I walked out into the parking lot of my girlfriends apartment complex this morning and saw that my truck must have been backed into because i have 2 dents in my rear quarter panel (no creases, thank God... bc i think they can be pulled) and 2 dents in my rear bumper which i can see it was a truck that back into it because it looked like a ball hitch scrapped down on it and dented it... No note or anything on my winshield... just a hit and run.... sucks i know!
So now i need to replace my rear bumper. I took a look on ebay and found some but they are from a fx4 painted charcoal (which mine is black) and not to mention it had scratches on them with some skuff marks on the top. They also had packages with the front grill bumper and rear bumper, but im not sure if they will seperate it or not. Im trying to find out where i can get a oem chrome bumper for fairly cheap besides ebay. Does anyone have any ideas where i can look, or if anyone has any bumpers lying around off there 08' they would like to sell...? Any info would be much appreciated.... Im pretty bummed about this.... i love this truck but im not having the best of luck with it. Thanks guys.

Lots of people, like myself, take off the factory bumpers and replace them with the big ugly heavy duty steel bumpers so these types of things aren't an issue. See if you can find a local shop that sells and installs aftermarket bumpers and ask them if they have any "take offs". Those are the factory bumpers that were replaced with the aftermarket ones.

Sorry for the bad luck bud, I hate those kind of people. They will get whats coming to them one way or another. anyways.... Id just try to look into getting an aftermarket type of heavy-duty. If your not for that kind of look, Im sure someone will chime in willing to sell theirs. Good luck
