blitzagent...try this link. I just fixed mine using these instructions.... never did find out which fuse or relay the overhead console is on.... but it did'nt matter. this was my problem as well.. be carefull.... those flat resistors are really small...lol. I think I oversoldered and pooched the Temp display..
Plug the board back in, turn the key on, and apply pressure to each resistor until the display comes back on. You may want to use a pencil eraser, as those little babies get pretty warm, pretty quick. Whichever one makes the display come back on is the one that needs to be resoldered.
Cool! Thanks a bunch fuddy! Just bought my used F-250 the other day and found this forum a few days after that. I assumed that the trip computer was fried when I bought the truck. Now I at least have something to try if I could only find my T-10 somewhere...
there are some tabs up high on the inside of the console, which might be hard to see...I just grabbed mine by both sides and yanked down...lol it came off with out breaking the tabs.... I must be lucky. I would imagine one is supposed to push outward on those tabs with a screwdriver???
Not sure if "yanked" is the proper term in the manual...
