4.2l conversion and bodykits

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 16-Dec-02 AT 07:46 PM (EST)]i was wondering how much work would be involved in converting my 2000 f150 into a 5.0, and where i could find a good used engine, or a cheaop new one. also i would appreciate if someone could tell me where i could find a full bodykit for the 2000 f150 single cab shortbed styleside

u should've bought one with the 5.4, then u wouldn't have to hack up the one you've got.

Im lookin to do the same here.... looked into a 5.4L from a wreckin yard they wanted $2100 for it... starter/alternator were all seperat though and a tranny to bolt up to it was $1200... costley.... im now consentrating on the exterior and interior work i have planned for this winter.... i might install a carb engine later on... no need for a computer then
