Because the actual topic is about an engine

IMO, That makes it engine related ONLY.

Can this engine be used in other applications?
Yes it can.

But with your thinking....then this following question should be okay to post here as well.

What Tissue paper should I have available for people to use in my 1971 Truck ?

another Question:

What is the 385 engine series forum for then ?

For specific 67-72 truck topics ?

BTW, it's not life or death but consider this .... It's the ORGANIZED way to do things.

Well since you asked, Mr Organized, Use whatever tissue it takes you to clean up your mess, in your 1971 Truck.

Something you know nothing about, despite your red line disclaimer, is the big flood of negative opinions & comments on you that arrived in my inbox this morning. Negativity disgusts me, even when it's about you instead of by you. That's a hell of a reputation you have going on. These are my last words in this thread, you can't drag me down into your world of misery any longer because of a fabricated opportunity on your part.

Go Ahead and Post your last words on this topic, as you do on so many many others, satisfy your poor wounded ego, your hurt feelings, then grow up some, get a life, and back off on people, friend. I get a bad feeling they don't care much for you, from what they've said in their e-Mails.

I certainly Hope that NEVER EVER happens to me though.

For many years, Ford offered an over the parts counter tissue dispenser that mounted under the dash. It came with tissues = Kleenex Tissues.

So if you want to be 100% original, that's the brand to use.

Dennis: Regardles of casting numbers, the proof is in the pudding.

D1VZ-6010-A bare block replaced the 1968/70 blocks except where I noted in other posts. That means only one block was used from 1968 thru early 1979. If there were changes brought on by the D1VE-A1B; A2B casting numbered blocks, Ford would have updated the service part number. They did not.
