Ok got it all back together now fluid level does not show and does not use third fourth and overdrive any ideas
ok.so then now, you'll need to tell the story on why you removed the pump in the first place.what it was you did to it and why?
also clarify "fluid level doesn't show" you mean, while checking on the dipstick you don't see any fluid? if so,then this means the trans still needs more fluid.add a half quart at a time until the level reads correctly.
Yes I mean it doesn't show any fluid I have put almost ten quarts in this trans and now it uses first and second and that's it I pulled the pump because the seal went bad and I was told u have to change the bushing with seal or leaks again got all the clutches lined up put the ppump in and put all back to get her put 10 quarts in and it has no fluid on dipstick
12 but i did not drain the tc there is fluid in the solenoid plug fRom removal and I have a washer that looks like it goes to the line assembly for trans but can not find a diagram to show if it goes there or not
If you had the converter off of the trans you DID drain the converter. You might not know you did, but when the converter is removed from the trans at least half of the fluid will drain out, usually a lot more. So at 12 quarts you're grossly underfilled.

I don't know what a line assembly for trans is. I don't know what you mean.

uh oh.why did you pull that? did you put the ***** back or do you still have them? if you put them back, how did you insure they were put back where they belonged? your making more questions than answers now.
first off though, give the basic instructions you did,for replacing the pump bushing.did you replace it or did you take the pump to a trans shop and have them do it?
it should of been left alone if it wasn't worn and of course if it didn't walk.
the banjo fitting washers?
well it's not your shifting issue now,but if you don't put them back on it's going to be.you don't want atf always leaking.so put them back.
I pulled it bc I was told u have to replace the bushing when replacing the seal had a trans shop rebuild the pump and I had heard that it could be the valve assembly but when I pulled it they fell out and I filled until it showed full but still no 3rd and 4th gear that's why I was checking the valve assembly
