Should I be concerned?
Ok new to this Ford thing. Wife bought me a 03 f250 crew cab 4x4 last Thursday. Truck has 90k on the odometer. I had never heard of a Oasis report untill I logged on here. Requested one from the forum and I must say got a real quick turn around (Thanks Guys).
Truck was built 05/03 had one report when it was test driven. No other reports untill 01/07 when the truck had 82,000 miles. Since then 8 reports, some TSB's (egr work fuel injection module mods) and 2 turbo replacements.
In your opinions am I going to be spending a lot of money on this truck when the warranty runs out next summer or fall?

From what I read and my experience the head gaskets are the biggest concern and if they have not been changed yet then the odds are with you. There are mixed emotions on the 03s but I love mine, got 106,000 on the odo now and just got done replacing the alternator.

Your wife must REALLY like you, lucky dog! I had to buy my own truck, and beg her to let me get it. Bought mine @3 months ago, have changed almost all fluids and filters- start off fresh, do it yourself and get to know your rig. Lots of good info and people willing to help here, just don't mention Edge or Bullydog!
BTW I bought mine off ebay from Texas, got the oasis here-thanks again- with 126k on it, absolutely LOVE my truck! Good luck!

She bought me a 53 F100 for Christmas a couple of years ago. I guess I will have to keep her.
So far the people here have been very nice and helpful with my questions and concerns. Love my truck just still getting used to it.
