Almost as nice as the Pantera. I'd consider one with a SBF.

My first thought was "Oh boy- more coke".

Wow that's nostalgia at its finest.

They came with V-6 Renault engines, IIRC.

Wonder If they come factory with the Flux-Compasitor or is that a dealer add on? Sorry a bit corny but i couldn't help myself. I know where 2 are about 25 miles from my house, but the guy won't get rid of them. Only 500, I just wonder if they will sell fast? Very nostalgic though.

I wonder if you could shoehorn a V-10 into one.

Amazing. A guy in the next town over from me has two of them. They are so ugly that they are cool.

Not bad in euro trim, but with all the safety and emissions crap they got for this market, they were underpowered expensive pigs. Not to mention lifting them to help with bumper heights. That Lotus suspension didn't like those angles.
I always made fun of how they dubbed in a v8 sound for the one in Back to the Future.

Great. Now I feel seriously old...

If DeLorean's were totally redesigned as a modern super-car it would be one thing, or if they were ever really competitive as sports machines. These are definitely going to be 'niche' cars. Something you just want for no particularly good reason.

PANTERA's on the other hand, were wild machines!

When you first see one you would think the stainless steel would be very shiny vs. grayish. Plus, that high hump in between the seats ... not like your favorite person can just slide right over.

My 21 year old nephew and I were at a local cruise night and a DeLorean was parked a few spots away from my car.

We were sitting on a bench when my nephew said "Isn't THAT a DeLorean"?

He NEVER made any attempt to get a closer look and I explained the story of the car's "Rise & Fall".

We started to "RIP" on the car and, of course, the jokes started flying about Flux Capacitors, Gigawatts and all "Back To The Future" related things.

Even the younger generation has very little interest in it and we never did get up to look at the thing.
