?? on Backspacing......
looking to put 18" wheels onto my 2004 F250....butttt, was wondering what the biggest backspacing someone has used that will fit? will 5" be to big? and what offset is stock so i can look for a wheel around the same to advoid it sticking out to far?

Offset depends on the wheel width, so I would ignore that unless the width is stock. In most cases, you want to be within +/- 1" of the factory BS, else you may rub on radius arms, fenders, etc.; though if you have a significant lift you might want to have less BS, and a wider, more stable stance.

i was looking to have a 2" level kit with 18x9 wheels and 285/65/18 tires....the backspacing on the wheels i am looking at are 4.75" witha -6offset.......i just cannot find what the stock was...i know it came with 16's though.
