You mention it is an 85.5 or up. Problem I see is that the vin# decodes it as an '83 F150(at least according to my sources). So are you thinking the truck was originally a 85 or 86 F250 with snow fighter package that at some point in it's life had a 83 F150 cab put on it and retitled as a '83 F150?
If you hang around these forums very long, you will realize this truck could be anything put together from 4 or 5 trucks. It may be futile to figure out exactly what it originally was.
yeah, I guess the important thing is that it has the right running gear. I'm a little (actually alot) OCD when it comes to stuff like this. BTW, If I get the truck I will stick around for awhile.
