Puzzled
I have an 83 F250 with a 351W. The battery keeps going dead and it is a new battery. I have tried a different battery and it still goes dead. When you try to start it the engine tries to turn over with the key out of the ignition.
I am stuck any suggestions?

Do this to see if you have a drain. If you do, start pulling fuses till the light goes out. If that doesn't work, pull the wires off the alternator and see if the light goes out. Make sure the domelights are off during the test.
