Ford Explorer neutral switch

I had a neutral towing switch installed in my ford explorer by the dealer but they don't know how it works. Can anyone help.

Wow....they installed it but can't tell you how it operates? I think I'd be having a serious chat with the service manager.

It is a 2002 ford explorer.
