You can pretty much fill that blank with just about any out-of-the-box performance chip and many of the tuners that are out there for the 6.0L.

Turbo farts are a result of the turbo building boost under heavy/moderate acceleration or load and the driver suddenly dropping off the accelerator. With the accelerator opened it was being pushed into the intake, but with that door effectively closed, it has to go somewhere. As the 6.0L turbo does not have a wastegate, it simply huffs/farts past the intake impellor and exits right where it got pulled into the system...through the air filter. The point herein being that a turbo fart is a seperate event from from those that typically blow head gaskets.
The tuner/chip that he is running is likely causing the turbo to provide a fair bit more boost than stock. Couple that with the injection timing being lengthened--especially as indicated by the copious amount of black, sooty smoke--and you have a lovely cocktail which creates cylinder pressures well beyond normal. Head bolts stretch. Gaskets get blown. Etc.
So basically he's got a busted rig? Damn i was hoping it was something that was able to reproduce with my ride. but i like my truck out of the shop so guess not going that way.
