trans swap

hello, i have a 88 with a 302 and a automatic overdrive trans. will this trans. bolt up to my 89 300 cid.? thanks larry

AOD or AODE? Will bolt up, might not work as as electronics are involved and shift points might not be right. That can be fixed, though.

An 88 should have an AOD. It will bolt up to a 300cid 6 cyl just fine. You will have to find and install the proper linkage for the throttle pressure lever/valve.
