Odd ?
When I pull my emergency break handle and it releses, my radio,tach,and the clock will stop working for about five seconds. Is this just some kind of short in the wiring? I know it is a dumb question, but its aggrovating me to death, and I am no good at anything electrical. any help would be great. THANKS

Think that's weird? My wipers used to come on when I pressed the parking brake pedal more than two clicks. Found a relay hanging loose that was getting pinched by the brake pedal. Mounted it up out of the way, doesn't happen anymore.
Check the wire harness in that general area. you may have one that's not completely plugged in.

We can teach you wiring on this forum. You don't have a "short" you have an "open" in the circuit.
Here is an "odd story".. I had a truck at the dealership a few years ago that had a bad stubble and a slight miss. It had been to about every truck shop on the east coast. Could not figure out what was going on. Did the normal battery connections. Reprogrammed the engine ECM. I was leaning on the truck taking a smoke break racking my brain and I notice a wrench that was on my key ring stuck to the frame. I have a 5/16 wrench that has been on my keychain for 25 years. It is about worn half through. Come to find out the truck had been struck by lightning, which isn't uncommon, but it magnetized the frame. I took a sledge hammer and hit the frame as hard as I could and the engine cleared right out for about 15 seconds. We had to send the truck out to get the frame demagnetized.
