Need Speakers

hey all..
Looking to get 4 new speakers for my 97 ext cab XLT F150..they are 6x8 and i was wondering if anyone has a good recomendation. Stock radio w/6 disc changer. I haven't looked at the speakers yet so I don't know the wattage.

I really like my JL Audio's. I've had them since 2000 in 2 different trucks and they still sound great. They are kinda pricey and you need an amp. If you're just replacing the speakers, just get some Pioneers from Walmart and it should sound pretty good.

+1 for the JL Audios. A set of TR570-CXi's will do you some good and will sound fine with the factory head unit. If you are eventually going to add an amplifier, I'd go with the XR series. JL's are good stuff, door speakers, amps, subs, everything!

jl's sound quality has slumped a little in the past 2 years but they still make a very good speaker. i would recommend them too and or brands like kicker and rockford

I run pioneer two way 6x8s in my doors and rear sides with two kicker 10" cvr`s
behind rear seat. I have the bench seat in my 2005 crew cab but want to swap for buckets.
