Got my truck back today after Ford replaced the engine with 42k miles. Took it in for oil in the coolant and ended up with a new engine. The first thing I noticed was the turbo wistle. Never noticed it before. Seems to start faster and runs very quiet. Maybe something was wrong since it was new ?
Anyways I'm glad to have it back and hope this ends my problems with this 6.0.
My '06 is in the process of getting an '04 engine in it. Something to do with a big gapping hole in the side of the block and a missing piston or two. Sure am glad I bought this '04 engine as a spare.

Looking at your mods sounds like your having too much fun with it..
You may need another spare for the spare.

Glad to here they got you up and running. Sounds like you have a very good dealership to work with.
Did they ever say what happened to your old motor?
CUSTOMER STATES THERE IS OIL IN THE COOLANT
CHECK AND ADVISE
VERFIED COMPLAINT, PERFORMED COOLING SYSTEM
DIAG AND FOUND THE OIL COOLER FAILED. CONTACT
HOTLINEAND THE FIELD SERVICE ENGINEER AND
DUE TO THE AMOUNT AND CONSISTANCY OF THE
OIL IN THE COOLANT WAS TOLD TO REPLACE THE
ENGINE ASSY. REPLACED ENGINE AND ALL HOSES
FLUSHED THE RAD AND HEATER CORE. REASSEMBLE AND
TEST DRIVE NORMAL OPERATION.
Total was over $12k
And yes I found a good dealer that actually listens to its customers .
within any aftermarket add ons, or fuels, the issue HAS to be proven the add on or fuel caused the issue. i have had too many oil coolers to know this is a issue and not because of bio.
