His stock plus file is a file with a very modest power increase (almost indiscernable with a SOP dyno) but with improved shifting and removal of the EGR.

Even his UEH and UET files which are hotter than the stock plus file are designed with moderated cylinder pressures in mind. I doubt that these files would ever show the piston top indications that tuners/chips using massive amounts of timing and fuel delivery do. In fact I would be surprised if his hottest files would do it.

As for taking it in for warranty work, flash the truck back to stock, erase the KAM and in you go.

If you've got questions don't hesitate to ask. That's what the forum is here for.

What is and how do you erase the KAM? Thanks.

KAM=keep alive memory. There are three capacitors in the PCM that store an electrical charge that must be discharged to erase the KAM. Procedure is to disconnect BOTH batteries, negative cables first, turn your headlight switch on for 10 minutes, turn it back off, and then reconnect your batteries, positive cables first.

I got my SCT yesterday and gave Matt a call. He had my tunes to me within 15 min. I loaded up the Aggressive Street Economy tune. I couldn't wait and had to go on a latenight spin. I have a totally different truck. I honestly can not believe how awesome the truck performed. I am going to use this or the UEH tune for the daily diver tune. I will probably have to go with the aggressive street. I should have started with the UE-H because It will be hard to take off this one. I am going to try his HE-T tune with my 11k TT on labor day weekend for about 700 miles. I can not wait. Matt is the man indeed. Thanks bro.
