89 EB A/C and blower problems

I noticed a couple weeks ago that when I turned on the air, hot or cold, nothing came from the vents. Since it is summer and I have the top off I figured no big deal, probably a fuse. Well now my AC compressor is seized and it snapped the belt. I have a bypass pulley to put in, but was wondering if you thought this would fix the blower issue or do I have further trouble-shooting to do? And what all do I need to do as far as bypassing or capping off the refrigerant and/or coolant lines? Thanks in advance, ye gurus.

The blower problem is probably the switch cause that's what died in my 89 this summer. But its just the wiper on the end of the lever so an elastic is helping out til I can swap in the new switch - try pushing the lever to the right while moving it up and down a couple times then hold to the right on High and see if it works - if it does then you need a switch too. As for the refridgerant - you should a shop to recover the refridgerant cause the environmental weenies get upset when you just cut and dump that stuff. Check for local laws.
