how big can i go

i just bought an 84 4wheel drive. it has a total of 9 inches of lift and right now has 35s on it. how much tire can i stuff under it with the lift that it has now without cutting the fenders? i was hoping to put some 38s on it, is there any way they will fit? thanks

i would think so with that much lift. I would turn your front tire to where it's closer to the fender corner {did that make since} and see how much room you have between the tire and the fender......but yeah I would think so. Mines a 85 with body lift only and I have 33's/12.5 pro-comp mudders

With 9" of lift, you should be able to fit 38's on you truck.
