250 Revving?????????????

250 Revving?????????????
Hi all. New to the site although I have been lurking for awhile. I need some help figuring out what's up with my '99 250 with a 6.8L. The truck has a 5 speed manual transmission and when I up/down shift the RPM's rev up when I depress the clutch, and no my foot isn't on the gas pedal. Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the site Steve! 
I would suggest posting in the V10 forum (on the main forum page) for info on your problem, you should get a better response there.
(although, having said that - I would be looking for a sticky throttle body/cable)
