Uk1050, You built that same setup? It does not say what the harware was? Just grade 8 bolts. ALso did you use the same setup for the actuator? i have one that i was going use. Dont know what the stroke is. i bought it at a swap meet for 5 bucks. It works that is all i know. It is on my self next to other parts.Do you have pics of your setup? Also did you have fit problems like john? Sorry to bother you about this. Thanks RT

no bother at all. i used square tubing i believe 2-3 inch. like johns but i used two actuators from autoloc. works real smooth. i put two seperate switches under my dash. as far as the fit problem yeah lots. i took out the middle portion of the support brace and put a sandbag on each side of the hood. climbed under the hood and refiberglassed it back in. the middle of the hood was still a little high so i lifted the cowl vent to flush it with the hood and welded it shut and smoothed it in.good luck anymore questions feel free to ask i will try to get some pics
